Gerwyn Price withdraws from Premier League night in Aberdeen due to lingering back injury

Gerwyn Price will not be in action Thursday night during the fourteenth round of Premier League Darts play. 'The Iceman' had to withdraw due to a back injury, the PDC reported.

The former world champion was also unable to travel to Graz for the Austrian Darts Open last week after suffering a pinched nerve in his back. Price has since undergone treatments on his injury, but he is not fit enough to travel to Scotland.

Luke Humphries was due to face Price in the quarterfinals on Thursday night. 'Cool Hand Luke' now gets a bye to the last four and can add two important points to his total. Humphries also gains one more leg on his leg difference.
