Corey Cadby's Tour Card taken away by PDC after inactivity as Q-School gains another Tour Card

There are not thirty but 31 PDC Tour Cards to be distributed at this year's Q-School. That's because the PDC took away Corey Cadby's Tour Card. 'King Cadby' won a Tour Card at the Q-School in early 2023, but did not use it.

The PDC was troubled by this issue and decided to introduce a new rule. The PDC may take a Tour Card away from a player if they do not use their PDC Tour Card for a year without a valid medical reason.

Cadby was considered a great talent, but never lived up to his great promise. The 2016 World Youth Champion had a myriad of issues back in Australia meaning as a result, he is not eligible for a (work) visa. He needs this to participate in tournaments in the United Kingdom.

This also coincides with the paying up of PDPA memberships with likely Christian Perez who is another player who fell fowl of not really playing given second grace instead of his Tour Card taken away. But it shows the PDC can implement this rule if needed.
