Draw revealed for Austrian Darts Open 2024: Luke Littler opens vs host nation qualifier

Between April 26-28, the European Tour rolls into Graz for the 2024 Austrian Darts Open. The draw for the tournament has now been revealed.

Despite the top-16 seeds getting a bye into round 2, the opening round will see more than a few familiar names taking to the stage. Luke Littler for example will face off against a host nation qualifier, with a potential tie against Damon Heta the prize for the winner.

Certain other notable names such as Michael van Gerwen will have to wait to find their opponent. For the Dutchman it will be either Jeffrey De Zwaan or Karel Sedlacek. Gerwyn Price will meet either Andrew Gilding or another of the host nation qualifiers.

Number one seed Dave Chisnall has either Brendan Dolan or a host nation qualifier whilst last year's winner Jonny Clayton, will face either Graham Hall or Chris Dobey.

From the original list of entries, Luke Humphries and Gary Anderson have withdrawn from the event due to personal reasons, and have been replaced by Richard Veenstra and Ricky Evans from the Reserve List, with Joe Cullen and Krzysztof Ratajski benefiting from a boost up into the seeds.
