"He's a real phenomenon" - Tough match predicted for Tim Wolters against YouTube sensation Ashley Coleman at UK Open

The UK Open 2024 begins in Minehead on March 1, with the first, second and third round matches being played in the afternoon session.

Tim Wolters, who won the PDC Tour Card at the beginning of the year, will face Ashley Coleman in the first round. The Englishman secured his ticket to the UK Open via a Rileys Open Qualifier.

Coleman has made a name for himself in recent times, starring on the Darts Referee YouTube channel. "I would really watch Ashley Coleman," noted German analyst, Robert Marijanovic. "This is a player who is known to the insiders on the island. He's a real phenomenon: long-haired, quite stocky, but a dangerous, dangerous player!"

Not an easy task for Wolters. Marijanovic warns: "I also think that all the players who know him a bit will try to avoid him in the first one or two rounds or won't want him (as an opponent) because he's unpleasant to play against."

The match between Wolters and Coleman is the second match on Board 5 in the first round. Provided the German emerges victorious from this match, he will face either Sebastian Bialecki or Jenson Walker in the second round.
