"Keep playing the way I am, the results are going to change" - Gerwyn Price keeping the faith in Premier League Darts

Gerwyn Price returns Thursday night to the place where he managed to make history two years ago by throwing two nine-darters in one night during the visit of the Premier League Darts to Belfast.

'The Iceman' became the first player to produce a perfect leg in two different matches on the same night. Price hopes to show his top form again during the ninth round of Premier League play, as he needs points to keep his hoped of a top 4 finish alive.

Price finally recorded another victory last week after four consecutive defeats, despite the fact that the former world champion has the third highest tournament average all campaign.

''I’m playing really well, but the standard in this Premier League is so high,'' Price stated in conversation with the PDC. ''Coming back to Belfast is a positive feeling, and if I win the night, I’m only one or two points away from the top four.''

The former rugby player is counting on the points to come soon. ''My game is in a good place. I just need that extra 1% in my game when it comes to the doubles and taking shots out. The Premier League is a tough school, but there’s still a long way to go, and if I keep playing the way I am, the results are going to change."
