Stephen Bunting replaces Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price at World Series tournaments

Stephen Bunting will make a return at the World Series tournaments in Denmark and Poland in June. 'The Bullet' has been called up because Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price have both canceled for one tournament.

Van Gerwen has withdrawn from the Nordic Darts Masters. This tournament will be played June 7 and 8 in Copenhagen. Van Gerwen will be on holiday at that time, preventing him from participating. Price has just withdrawn from the Poland Darts Masters, scheduled a week later in Gliwice, Poland.

Crowd favourite Bunting claimed his first PDC major title at the Masters in February by beating Van Gerwen in the final. He previously competed on the World Series circuit in 2014, reaching the final at the Sydney Darts Masters. In the final, however, Bunting lost to Phil Taylor.
