Wade becomes co-record appearance holder at World Grand Prix this year

Next Monday, the World Grand Prix gets underway in Leicester. James Wade, who won the tournament in 2007 and 2010, will take on Krzysztof Ratajski in the opening round.

For Wade, it will be his nineteenth participation in the World Grand Prix, doing as well as fellow record holder Phil Taylor. In joint second place follow Steve Beaton and Adrian Lewis with sixteen participations each.

Ronnie Baxter, Kevin Painter and Mervyn King each count fifteen participations. Just behind them follow John Part, Colin Lloyd, Brendan Dolan, Gary Anderson and Raymond van Barneveld with 14 participations each.
