Worsley kicked out of tournament after falling out with Van Gerwen on Winter Series

Jonathan Worsley is not allowed to participate in the final day of the PDC Winter Series on Saturday. The Welshman has been kicked out of the tournament after an argument with Michael van Gerwen.

Worsley wrote on Facebook that he was told off for wearing a shirt that doesn't follow the PDC dress code after he spilt a drink down his shirt but that he then asked the tournament director about the rule when he spotted someone marking for Van Gerwen in jeans and a t-shirt.

Van Gerwen found out about this and approached Worsley and according to the Welshman, the World Number One tried to 'intimidate' him so he pushed him.

Womble would play Daryl Gurney in the first round, but the Northern Irishman now gets a bye to the second round.

Worsley shared his frustrations on Facebook after his removal. ''F*****g Van Gerwen a cry baby c*nt. PDC one rule for one, another rule for another'', the world number 97 said. He deleted that post, before he released a statement, explaining what happened according to him.
