Brooks and Hedman win WDF titles at Scottish Open

Jordan Brooks and Deta Hedman won the singles tournaments at the WDF Scottish Open in Renfrew last weekend.

Brooks was the best in the men's tournament. The Englishman made it to the final after wins over Greg Ritchie (4-2), Darren Armstrong (4-3) and Davie Kirwan (5-0), among others. Brooks was then 6-4 too strong for Martin Atkins in the final.

Hedman won the women's tournament after victories over Chloe O'Brien (4-0), Julie Thompson (4-1), Kirsty Hutchinson (4-1) and Rhian O'Sullivan (5-4), among others.
