"I can't wait to come back for Champions Week" - Brilliant Beau Greaves reacts to history-making success on the MODUS Super Series

In a history-making spell of darts last week, Beau Greaves threw the highest female average ever (114.56), became the first female to win a MODUS Super Series week and the first player of any gender to do so without losing a single match.

"It's amazing. What an achievement for myself! I'm just relieved to be stood here talking," Greaves reflects in her post-match interview. "I've loved being here, it's been absolutely great and hopefully I can comeback at some point. But yeah, I can't believe it!"

Greaves was overwhelmed with congratulations afterwards. "I'm not on a lot of social media but the messages I had, was obviously amazing. So thank you to everyone who believes in me and it's just really nice that you have friends out there who want to see you succeed," she explains. "I just can't believe it. I'm lost for words."

The 20-year-old Englishwoman has already become a two-time WDF women's world champion and has taken the Women's World Matchplay crown. Now, Greaves has another big success to add to her growing trophy cabinet. "It's the first mixed one I've won that is a real professional competition and it's obviously great to be stood here as the first lady to do so," she concludes. "It'll probably hit me when I go to bed or I'll wake up in the morning and think 'Bloody hell!' I can't wait to come back for Champions Week and see how I do there."
