The 2019 Masters was the first edition of the tournament to feature more below 90 averages than ton plus averages, it has been revealed.
There were seven below 90 averages with ton plus being down at four.
In terms of last year’s statistics, there were 16 ton plus averages showing a massive disparity between them.
This could have been due to MVG not being at top gear but still winning the tournament at a canter.
