Michael van Gerwen is the only player left with a 100 per cent record in the 2019 Premier League Darts.

Mighty Mike claimed a 7-3 win over Mensur Suljovic in Glasgow. It means that the PDC world champion has opened the Premier League with two wins, after beating Michael Smith in Glasgow. Gerwyn Price and James Wade, also Week One winners, failed to match van Gerwen. Price drew against Raymond van Barneveld to leave him second in the Premier League. Rob Cross shoots up to third after beating Wade 7-4.

Daryl Gurney’s clinical win over Glen Durrant fires the Northern Irishman into a tentative play-off spot. Then follows Wright – who has two draws from two thanks to a stalemate against Smith – and Wade. Smith and van Barneveld have just one point each. So too does Suljovic, who props up the league despite ton-plus averages in both games he has played this season.
