An additional Challenge Tour has been added to the PDC Calendar, it has been revealed in the aftermath of the big European Tour shake-up being announced.
As a result, it will go from 20 events previously to 24 events and this sixth weekend will be played on 19th and 20th September.
With more players than ever going to Q-School, it will now be expanded due to them all getting into the secondary tour and it will also send it firmly to the wire every year now.
Callan Rydz ended up winning the Challenge Tour this year; with Jesus Noguera finishing behind him. Both players as a result have acquired Tour Cards and it represents the latest shake ups in the PDC Calendar.
