Aleksandr Oreshkin qualified for the PDC World Darts Championship through the Russian Qualifier on Sunday.
The eccentric Russian beat his fellow World Cup teammate Boris Koltsov in the finale 3-1 in sets. This year, Oreshkin and team mate Koltsov impressed at the World Cup of Darts. Together they won 4-0 in the deciding doubles match against Simon Whitlock and Kyle Anderson. Then they lost in the quarterfinals to eventual runners up Wales.
