Kim Huybrechts came through in the opening game of the evening session in a brilliant win for ‘the Hurricane’ against a man in form in Nathan Aspinall who despite his 6-3 loss has achieved a spot in Hasselt in the European Championship. He will now face Peter Wright or Martin Schindler tomorrow.
Jelle Klaasen continued the seeds getting through by defeating Chris Dobey 6-1. Klaasen finished well with Dobey missing quite a few doubles which would of changed the game and it is a welcome return to some good form for Jelle who since having surgery hasn’t been at his best.
