Kyle Anderson will return to New Zealand where he had his greatest triumph to date in 2017 when he took the Auckland Darts Masters title.
He will face off against Michael van Gerwen at the NZ Darts Masters now in Hamilton who will be fired up from his Melbourne Darts Masters win last time out and he is a familiar foe for ‘The Original’.
Ahead of the tie he said he’s looking forward to returning to where he had his first TV triumph but that his ability to cause an upset is based on how he comes out on the night.
“Everyone is looking forward to this,” he told Newshub. To come back here where I won my first TV title is great.
“It is a matter of how I come out on the night. You know what Michael brings to the table, but I hope he doesn’t come out firing at the start.”Tags: Kyle Anderson, NZ Darts Masters 2019
