The German Darts Grand Prix Quarter-Final lineup is confirmed with Keegan Brown and Michael van Gerwen playing out the final one later this evening. They defeated Darren Webster and Alan Norris respectively to move through.
‘The Needle’ produced a brilliant comeback in his victory over Webster. He suffered a match dart at 5-3 down but battled back to force a decider and win through to his first Euro Tour Quarter-Final in some time.
The turning point for Brown was taking out 109 which then allowed him to win the next few legs and complete the comeback. He faces Michael van Gerwen later who dispatched Alan Norris for a second week running.
He averaged 105 in a 6-1 rout of ‘Chuck’ hitting 2x 180’s and a high finish of 121 after surviving a scare against Steve Lennon yesterday. As a result he sends a message to the chasing pack ahead of tonight’s final session of action.
