Larry Butler will aim for a big stage return just over a year on from suffering a serious heart attack as he heads the field so far revealed for the US Darts Masters and North American Championship.
Eight north American players will secure spots in the US Darts Masters and North American Championship through the four qualifying tournaments which take place on the first week of July with the players taking to the stage the day after at Mandalay Bay.
The likes of Chuck Puleo and Darin Young fresh off being involved at the World Cup of Darts will play alongside other players such as Danny Lauby and Jim Widmayer with the latter hoping to use his experience to get through.
In terms of the Canadian players, Dawson Murschell, Jim Long; as well as stalwarts John Part and Jeff Smith will be involved in the qualifiers. Entries for the US Darts Masters and North American Championship Qualifiers will close on Friday June 28 at 1600 BST.

Wednesday July 3 – North American Qualifiers Three and Four
Thursday July 4 – US Masters Last 16 (1200 start) and North American Darts Championship (1800 start)
Friday July 5 – US Masters Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Final (1200 start)
