Chris Dobey dumped out another seed in the penultimate game of the night in the form of Mensur Suljovic. ‘Hollywood’ was 3-0 down but reeled off 6 consecutive legs to cause a shock and get the biggest win of his season so far. He now sets up a clash against his mentor and fellow Dunvegan stablemate Gary Anderson.

Rob Cross ended the night smashing through Jonny Clayton 6-1. Cross averaged 97.93 with 2 180’s and continues his brilliant form as of late and despite it not being at his best, he looked good and will take on Kyle Anderson in Round 2 tomorrow with ‘The Original’ a seed this weekend. Clayton must be gutted as he didn’t do himself justice after some brilliant form as of late.
