Chris Dobey has penned a new long term deal with Unicorn Darts to continue what has been in many ways the best year of his career.

Dobey made his debut at the World Matchplay last month losing out to eventual champion, Rob Cross. He has also moved to a career high of World no.26 in the PDC Order of Merit after reaching the final of the Danish Darts Open in June.

As well as that brilliant performances at the World Championship and in the Premier League, where he was one of the contenders have shown the talents of ‘Hollywood’.

He spoke after signing the new deal and said that he is over the moon to extend his partnership with them and that if he didn’t have their backing, he probably wouldn’t be in his current position.

”I’m over the moon to extend my contract with Unicorn, they’ve been excellent with me since the very start. I have a great relationship with everyone and I’m very happy to still be here and very excited for the future. Without the backing from them I possibly wouldn’t be where I am today”.
