Daryl Gurney is through to the Quarter-Finals brushing aside Stephen Bunting at the European Championship in Hasselt.

He defeated ‘The Bullet’ 10-6 who has had a great run back to form after being in the darting doldrums for many months and so despite the loss, Bunting will be pleased with how he played in a match that only 6 months ago would of been a write off for the former World Champion.

Gurney hit six 180’s, 66% on the doubles and a 94 average continues Gurney’s claim to win back to back major’s and he moves ahead of Adrian Lewis in the rankings as a result of this win.
