Corey Cadby started his World Series of Darts Finals campaign by defeating Jelle Klaasen 6-3. It wasn’t the stellar match people were expecting it to be with both men only averaging 87 but Cadby did just enough punishing just 25% on the doubles from Klaasen to make it through.
Simon Whitlock was the next player through. ‘The Wizard’ didn’t play the best against Mark Webster and will have to do a lot better against the player who conquered him in the World Grand Prix final Daryl Gurney. The stats showed that both players didn’t perform with Whitlock averaging 78 to Webster’s 77 but the doubles were the main issue for both men.
