Joe Cullen, Daryl Gurney and Chris Dobey are all through to the final day of action at the Danish Darts Open in Copenhagen as the first session of the day comes to a close.

Cullen eased to a 6-1 victory over Kevin Burness who edged past Glen Durrant on the opening day. He hit a 128 checkout to win the tie and hit 66 percent on the doubles to secure his place in the Last 16.

It is a welcome return to form for ‘The Rockstar’ who hasn’t had the best of 2019’s so far. He was helped slightly though by Burness hitting a 74 average during the match.

Gurney similarly claimed a 6-1 win over Ryan Joyce as he moved through with ease against ‘Relentless’. He hit a 101 average, three 180’s and 60 percent on the doubles in a near perfect performance from ‘Superchin’.

Dobey on the other hand didn’t have as easy a route through to the final day as he survived two match darts from Ricky Evans in a deciding leg thriller.

He survived though to claim a 6-5 win over the Kettering ace and move through to end the session. Both players played well averaging mid 90’s meaning it was high quality as well as having a thrilling conclusion.
