Most darts followers counted on a Tour Card for Danny Noppert during the Q-School and the Dutchman knew how to meet these expectations after four days.
Noppert closed the European Q-School Order of Merit as number one. That was more than enough for a place with the best six players, who, like the day winners, were given a Tour Card.
The former Lakeside champion performed very consistently in Hildesheim. Noppert picked up at least two points every day and ended up on fourteen points. Afterwards he spoke with RTL7darts about obtaining his Tour Card.
“I have fought for what I am worth and now have my Tour Card. There are so many good participants here “, says ‘Noppie’ in conversation with Jacques Nieuwlaat. “There was pressure on my shoulders, but I did it anyway.”
“This is a new start for me with a new challenge. I look forward to it and will enjoy it, this game is all for me. I’m just going to try to show my best game. Taking everything out, you can not do more. “
