Daryl Gurney’s run in the World Grand Prix to become winner has made him the tentative #4 seed for the World Championship if all the prize money if all the money for future events is added on.
As a result of this it looks like Peter Wright will be #2 seed at Ally Pally with Phil Taylor dropping down to #7. Simon Whitlock as a result of his win as well according to the predicted Order of Merit will make a further jump to #10 and will be the tenth seed.
John Henderson is currently #30 but is on course to jump a few more spaces and unless he has a few good runs this week in Players Championship events, Terry Jenkins could be forced to play another year to get into his final World Championships or retire without it with Henderson’s run at the World Grand Prix putting a massive dent in his aspirations.
