Mensur Suljovic, the defending champion at the Champions League of Darts has claimed the opening win in the tournament as he edged out Rob Cross in a tight clash.
Cross was 4-2 up but when Suljovic came back into the clash, it was close until the very end.
The turning point could have been the break at 5-4 down with Suljovic hitting the bull in a 81 combination.
For ‘The Gentle’ though he has firmly set out his stall in Group B and will be wanting to continue his unbeaten run in the tournament.
