Chris Dobey has moved into a tentative World Grand Prix spot. ‘Hollywood’ has had a good start to 2018 including reaching a final on the Pro Tour and reached the Last 16 at this past weekend’s Gibraltar Darts Trophy.

Despite there of course being a long way to go until the cut off, tentative money has been added meaning barring a push from someone below the top 16 would mean Dobey would be at the Citywest.

The Bedlington ace would be making his debut at the event and has pushed out someone who would also be making their debut in Danny Noppert.

Paul Nicholson sits just outside the top 16 of the Pro Tour Order of Merit after reaching the semi finals in Gibraltar. He has pulled himself back in contention and due to the money between players being so tight he could yet find himself at the World Grand Prix.
