Chris Dobey and Vincent van der Voort are the first through to the second round from tonight’s evening session at the European Darts Grand Prix.
Dobey completed an impressive whitewash victory over Madars Razma in a tie in paper that looked to be close.
He hit a 103 average though in the performance of the day so far including 60 percent on the doubles.
Van der Voort on the other hand had a tougher route through having to come through in a 6-4 win over the experienced Dave Prins.
The Dutch Destroyer was 3-1 down and had to come back to win but he did so successfully in a close contest which begun proceedings.
He has now dodged a banana skin of sorts so he will hopefully use that to push on to tomorrow.
