The draw for the International Darts Open 2019 was revealed on Thursday with play slated to begin on Friday 13 to Sunday 15 September in Riesa, the twelfth European Tour stop of the year.

Gerwyn Price is the defending champion at the International Darts Open with ‘The Iceman’ proving too good for Simon Whitlock as he claimed his first European Tour title.

Michael van Gerwen is the main player missing in Riesa as revealed by DartsNews.com earlier this week with the World Number One taking a family holiday to Greece.

Ian White as a result is number one seed with ‘Diamond’ slated to meet the winner of Richard North against Boris Koltsov which is one of the ties of the first round.

The lineup will be completed on Thursday evening with the winners of Host Nation qualifying tournaments joining proceedings in Riesa.

First tie on Friday afternoon will be Reece Robinson against Harry Ward; with the likes of John Henderson, Benito van de Pas, Dimitri van den Bergh and Jelle Klaasen all involved on the opening day.
