The race to the World Matchplay has been updated after the latest Players Championship double header in Barnsley.
Glen Durrant is currently in seventh in the rankings; he is now only a few thousand away it seems from securing his Winter Gardens debut.
This teamed with ‘Duzza’ moving up to 64 in the rankings this past weekend means it’s been a pretty good start.
Jeffrey de Zwaan is in contention as well after his final appearance on Sunday where he lost out to James Wade.
As a result he has replaced Ross Smith who is losing out at the minute on countback.

Jeffrey de Zwaan moves into the provisional Matchplay spots, knocking Ross Smith out on countback, with 13 events left until the cut-off. My projected cut-off is £34,750, putting Jermaine Wattimena all but safe. pic.twitter.com/3TCLD9sgc2
