Michael van Gerwen claimed victory in his first tie of the PDC World Darts Championship over but the World Number One had beer thrown over him as he was preparing for his walk on.
The action which has been taken on this fan has been revealed. According to a statement by the PDC which was subsequently shared by Live Darts, he was ‘removed from the premises’.
The PDC then concluded the statement saying that they do not ‘condone’ this behaviour.

99.99% of people know how to enjoy themselves and where to draw the line. 0.01% are idiots and find themselves ejected and banned.
Same in darts as every walk of life and the Ally Pally atmosphere prevailed in the end.
Great fight from Tabern but MvG as professional as ever.
