Gerwyn Price edged past Corey Cadby in a match that lived up to it’s billing as having fireworks and tension apletny with him coming through in a deciding leg 6-5. It included lots of big celebrations right in the faces of each other and will play Gary Anderson in the Quarter-Finals tomorrow.

Anderson won through after smashing his protegé Chris Dobey who was taught a lesson by the master in a masterclass from the ‘Flying Scotsman’ who hit a tournament best 103.5 average and hit 75% of his doubles. Dobey hit four 180’s but missed multiple doubles and as a result paid for it.
