Daryl Gurney is through to the Quarter-Finals with victory over David Platt at the NZ Darts Masters but towards the end, his doubling started to desert him of sorts.

Gurney spoke after the victory and said that it wasn’t good enough in that department from him and that his scoring wasn’t the best either.

He is looking forward though and hopes he can do better than he did last week in Melbourne so he has a title in his sights.

‘The double percentage was thirty two percent which is not good enough at this level. The scoring was here or there abouts. Hopefully I’ll do better than I did last week,’ said Gurney after his victory over Platt.
