The semi-final line-up is set and with only one former European Tour winner left in the field it could lead to there being a new first time winner come the end of the evening. The line up is completed with Max Hopp and Rob Cross.
‘The Maximiser’ is through to his first European Tour semi-final and this comes off the back of last weekends’ run to the Quarter-Finals. Hopp has finally found some form again to the delight of the German crowd in attendance.
He averaged 96.9 in the victory with three 180’s as he won 6-4 against Joe Cullen who will potentially see it as a missed opportunity to claim a first Euro Tour.
Rob Cross will be his opponent. ‘Voltage’ looked in real form as he smashed Gerwyn Price 6-1 with a 105 average and 60% on the doubles but Hopp will look to use the crowd to his advantage in their semi-final.
