Jermaine Wattimena has won his first round match at the Dutch Darts Masters. The Dutchman booked victory in front of his home crowd, as he defeated Adam Huckvale 6-3. Wattimena faces Joe Cullen in the second round on Saturday afternoon.
Michael Rosenauer had a comfortable start of the game, leading 5-1 after six legs. However, Ryan Joyce, who played his first Euro Tour-event, fought back and completed an amazing comeback after suviving three matchdarts from Michael Rosenauer. Joyce made no mistake and won the game 6-5.
Dragutin Horvat had to go all the way in his match against Toni Alcinas. In a levelled-game and a 5-5 score, an 11th leg had to decide the winner. After Alcinas missed three matchdarts, Horvat hit double 12 to claim victory. James Richardson came back from 0-2 down against Jason Cullen. ‘Ruthless’ beat the Irishman by a 6-4 scoreline.
