Luke Humphries is through to Round Three at the PDC World Darts Championship after a classy win over Stephen Bunting.
Along the way like in round one he showed his scoring ability with seven 180’s.
Also he hit high checkouts of 142 and 136 on his way to a big victory.
He started the set brilliantly really finding his best at the beginning. Humphries hit the 142 checkout to wrap up the set with a 98 average and four 180’s at this point.
The Newbury ace followed this up with a three-one set win to double his lead as he up his average even further to 100.
Bunting though grabbed a lifeline surging to the next set after going one a piece at the beginning.
This though was as good as it got for Bunting with Humphries claiming the win in the next set to send the St Helens ace packing.
