Luke Humphries has been one of the stories of the PDC World Darts Championship so far and he continued his run with a win over Dimitri van den Bergh.

Humphries spoke afterwards to Live Darts and admitted he is a bit overwhelmed after winning to set up a tie with Rob Cross in the Last 16.
“I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed actually. This is one of these things that I didn’t think would happen so early in my career,” said Humphries.
On whether the £35,000 minimum he will receive is life changing, he doesn’t look at it like that. In his opinion he is playing for titles and winning not the money.
“It’s life changing on my Order of Merit but I don’t really look at the money situation. If you play this game for money, maybe you won’t succeed. If you play this game for winning and titles, you will succeed.”
Finally he spoke about playing Rob Cross in the next round and in his opinion he’s there for the taking.
“Definitely he’s never lost on that stage before but I think that he’s there for the taking in a way. He’s a fantastic player and I respect him a lot.”
