Gerwyn Price has reached the third round at the Danish Darts Open, despite having an achilles inury. The Welshman beat Jelle Klaasen 6-3 to qualify for the final day of action in Copenhagen.

‘The Iceman’ produced two maximum scores and hit a 107 checkout en route to setup a clash with Peter Wright or Barry Lynn on Sunday. Price also pinned six doubles from twelve attemps.

Joe Cullen produced a fantastisch display to reach the last 16. The Rockstar recorded four maxium scores and nearly 106 average to beat Madars Razma 6-3. Brendan Dolan overcame John Henderson 6-4 earlier on the afternoon.
