Dimitri van den Bergh put in the performance of the night against Michael Smith in Glasgow at the World Series of Darts Finals. The young Belgian won 6-1 hitting a 100 average in the process and looking very good ahead of a last 16 encounter with Raymond van Barneveld tonight and he spoke about how he’s felt over the past few weeks and also said about the Development Tour and how he saw it as almost a free swing.
“I’ve been feeling good for the last couple of weeks, I’ve been doing a lot of detailed practice, especially on the finishing,” said the Belgian.
“I saw this match as a bit of a free swing as I would have gone to Wigan to play the Development Tour if I had lost.
“I just love playing darts and don’t care if it’s on the stage or on the floor I will always enjoy playing and keep trying to improve.”
