The quarter-final lineup at the Danish Darts Open is close to being finalised. The latest confirmed match is Mervyn King taking on Simon Whitlock.
King dumped out Rob Cross in his win for the second time this season on the European Tour. It went to a last leg decider with both averages around the 98 mark with the former major finalist hitting 54% of his doubles. A high out of 86 and 3 180’s secured a classy win for ‘The King’.
He will face Simon Whitlock later. ‘The Wizard’ also came through a last leg thriller with Ricky Evans hitting a 12 darter to secure the victory. It was 5 180’s with a 97 average in another close fought win.
