The UK Open 3rd Round continues and there are wins for the likes of Mervyn King, John Part and Paul Hogan. They are among the players to go into the 4th Round draw later this evening.
King came through defeating Raymond van Barneveld with a 99.5 average, four 180’s and 71% on the doubles against a below par Barney who averaged just 86.
This meant a 10-4 win for ‘The King’ as he performed well throughout the match keeping to a consistent level which could bring him a good run this weekend.
Also through is John Part, ‘Darth Maple’ who hasn’t appeared on a televised tournament for some time has won for the fourth time today. He defeated David Evans who accounted for Benito van de Pas 10-2. Part averaged 92 to end a great day.
