The latest Players Championship double header was this past weekend gleaming Michael Smith and Mickey Mansell as winners and as a result the Order of Merit has been updated with Mansell and the back to back runner up Adrian Lewis moving up.
‘Jackpot’ has moved up to 3rd after both of those finals showing that the form is still there for the 2 time World Champion. Lewis is behind Michael Van Gerwen and Gary Anderson who have both won multiple events on the series this year.
Mansell has moved up to 7th just behind Saturday’s winner, Michael Smith. This will more than likely mean an appearance at the Players Championship Finals for the Clonoe Cyclone.
It was at the same event last year that the Northern Irishman defeated Gary Anderson on the stage in one of his best moments.
Ryan Joyce and James Wade are still in the top ten with both players showing brilliant form so far this year.
Notable Players further down include Peter Wright and Rob Cross who are still in the top 20 as well as the likes of Alan Norris and Raymond van Barneveld who are outside the qualification places.
