Current BDO World Champion Wayne Warren who has had choice words to say about the organisation in recent weeks and its chairman Des Jacklin has pledged his allegiance to the new MAD Darts, ran by Steve Brown.

Warren himself has his sights set on becoming the first MAD World Champion; after previously winning at the Indigo this past January which only garnered £23,000; speaking to DartsWorld, he gave his full support to Brown's vision.

“I’ve spoken with Steve Brown at MAD Darts and his vision and ideas for darts players are amazing. He is exactly what the game needs to make the grassroots game what we know it can be and he has my full support and backing as a MAD player.

As who knows with some good luck on darts events getting back to normal; it would be amazing to become the first-ever MAD World Champion."
