Michael van Gerwen is once again into a major final as he smashed through Justin Pipe and will be after a hat trick of Players Championship Finals.

Pipe lived with him up until the 1st interval but barring that was inconsistent on scoring after hitting 180’s which let MVG have yet another barrage. Van Gerwen will prepare or a final against Clayton which he will be confident of winning with it being the longer format and with Pipe despite accruing a good haul of money from the weekend and having a great run will still be gutted that he didn’t play like he could against the World Number One.

Van Gerwen averaged 103.7 and four 180’s as he marched into the final in a tournament where he was only really troubled so far by Jan Dekker.
