The BDO World Trophy continues at the Preston Guildhall with the quarter-finals of the men’s draw and semi-finals of the women’s draw being decided. So far we have seen victories for Ross Montgomery, Roz Bulmer, Kyle McKinstry & Peter Machin.

Montgomery started proceedings on Day 3 of the BDO World Trophy beating Ryan Hogarth 6-2 but the real story came with his brilliant performance. The Boss showed brilliance with a 102 average in the end showing he is in some serious form.
Also Bulmer continued her brilliant run. On the opening day she defeated one of the favourites for the tournament in Deta Hedman and now she has defeated Sharon Prins in a whitewash win to book her place in the semi-finals.
Kyle McKinstry also is through with the Northern Irishman defeating the 2015 World Champion, Scott Mitchell 6-3 to claim victory in a match that included a 142 from the winner.
Finally Peter Machin is also through in the defence of his title. He defeated Wesley Harms in a nailbiting clash in Preston. It went to the deciding leg with the Australian potentially heading out bu he took out 109 for the match with Harms on 76 for the victory.
