VIDEO: John Norman Jnr draws criticism after North American Championship win over Dawson Murschell

John Norman Jnr's at it again.

The boisterous Canadian has developed a reputation for some over-exuberant behaviour on the oche. Norman Jnr rose to prominence at the 2017 World Cup of Darts, where his antics embarrassed John Part and annoyed Rowby-John Rodriguez.
Norman Jnr was back on the big stage at the North American Championship in Las Vegas on Thursday night. After whitewashing Dave Cameron, he met compatriot Dawson Murschell in the semi-finals. The 44-year-old recovered from 3-0 down to take the match to a deciding leg. After Murschell missed a dart at tops for the match, Norman Jnr struck a 48 checkout to seal his spot in the final.
In a clearly passionate celebration of the match dart, Norman Jnr turned and screamed while directly in front of Murschell. The youngster was evidently enraged by the reaction and quickly left the stage. Twitter users were quick to criticise the former World Cup representative.
"You know I love players like Huybrechts because of his emotions but this is disgraceful. I am sorry but celebrations like that makes me angry. Hopefully he will not qualifie (qualify) for Ally Pally," said @FrankyPol.
David Shaw added: "Norman JR is an embarrassment."
Norman Jnr went on to lose 6-4 to Jeff Smith in the final at the Mandalay Bay. He will return for the US Masters, where he will meet Daryl Gurney.
