Paul Nicholson has had a career renaissance of sorts this year and as a result he has booked his return to the World Championship.

Nicholson spoke about the last event of the season in Barnsley as well as his return to the Alexandra Palace.

He said about Barnsley that he was not sad to see the back of it and that it was monotonous playing in the same venue for months:

“I’m not sad to see the last of Barnsley for the best part of 4 months. I love to play darts, but constantly being in the same venue like that is monotonous.“

On his return to the World Championship he said he can’t wait to get back up there: “Moving on, Ally Pally is a certainty for me which is a massive positive and I can’t wait to get back up there.“
