We have our second semi-final confirmed at the Gibraltar Darts Trophy and it will see Paul Nicholson take on Adrian Lewis for the right to take on either Michael van Gerwen or Steve West in the final later.

Nicholson got to this point by winning yet another last leg thriller. ‘The Asset’ was seemingly cruising at 5-2 up but a combination of slack darts as he looked to get over the line and Price hitting the turbo made it 5-5 in the blink of an eye.

Price missed 6 match darts allowing the former Players Championship Finals winner a route through as his landmark run in his resurgence continues.

He will face Adrian Lewis in the semi-finals who wasn’t as good as against Wade but didn’t need to be as he claimed a 6-3 win with a 95 average. ‘Jackpot’ will aim to claim the title at the end of the night to show the darting world his drop in rankings hasn’t meant a drop in form.
