This past Players Championship weekend was a record breaking one with the most 100+ averages ever hit over the course of the two events.

Despite that though it was also a brilliant one for 105+ averages with over twenty hit over the course of the two days showing the ridiculous standard exhibited this season on the Players Championship series.

Peter Wright topped the list with an average which itself nearly went down in the history books. He was one dart away from breaking his own record for highest broadcast average against Adrian Gray with 120.2.

Ian White was second with a 113 average on Sunday in defeating Ron Meulenkamp in a day that included other averages on the list including a 105.4 as well as 109.0 and 107.6 as ‘Diamond’ once again showed his prowess on the ProTour.

Devon Petersen returned to form as well this past weekend as the popular South African came back into the foray reaching the latter stages on both days. His best performance average wise came on the Saturday when he defeated Niels Zonneveld with an excellent 111 average.

Another player on top form was Steve Lennon with his best coming fourth on the list with his nine-dart finish registering a 110 average in the end against Kai Fan Leung as he sustained his form throughout.

In terms of those who hit the most, it was Peter Wright and Ian White showing the form of the duo in spells this past weekend.
