The quarter-finals kick off on Friday night at the Grand Slam of Darts with the first two followed by the ones confirmed on Thursday which will take place on Saturday.

Dimitri van den Bergh was the nine dart hero this past week and now he faces a quarter-final clash with Mensur Suljovic. There is a massive opportunity for either player to seize with the likes of Michael van Gerwen on the opposite side of the draw. Especially on the part of Dimitri who will want to take that next big step and win a senior TV title.
Suljovic has shown brilliant consistency all year though and will aim to continue that here.  After a World Matchplay final earlier this year, he will be wanting to go better but will have to come through this tough test with the Dreammaker.
Then it is the turn of Simon Whitlock and Gerwyn Price. Both players have had good back ends to 2018 and are both into the latter stages again. It is sure to be a quality affair as a result between two of the world’s best.
